Amazing to think it all started with one rucksack of jewellery and a shed load of determination! \u00a0Now we\u2019re wholesaling<\/a> & retailing<\/a> worldwide via our website at\u00a0www.bodyjewellery.co.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>We\u2019ve seen many developments in piercing jewellery over the years when steel<\/a> was pretty much the only choice!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Piercing jewellery is now available in lots of materials including titanium<\/a>, acrylic<\/a>, silicone<\/a>, bioplast<\/a>, PTFE<\/a> (great for pregnancy bars!)\u00a0& gold plate<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This goes some way to explaining how our product range has grown from 2 sides of a page to over 25,000 pieces!<\/p>\n

Also everything is getting bigger!\u00a0 Barbells<\/a> used in scaffold piercings<\/a> are now up to 50mm long<\/a> and large gauge jewellery<\/a> for ear piercings<\/a> go up to a massive 50mm gauge<\/a> thickness, chunky!<\/p>\n

\"TDi<\/a>Another change we have welcomed was \u00a0the introduction of the EC Nickel Directive<\/a> in 2001, ensuring high quality materials are used in piercing jewellery to help combat nickel allergies.<\/p>\n

Right now the most popular trend is dermal piercing<\/a>.\u00a0 It seems like every week we\u2019re adding new dermal anchors<\/a>, divers<\/a> & wheels<\/a> not to mention all their many attachments!\u00a0 Not surprising really as these wee piercings are so versatile they can be placed almost anywhere and look great to highlight tattoos.<\/p>\n

We’ve also embraced social media with our Facebook<\/a> page featuring the latest jewellery along with the occasional special offer!<\/p>\n
