Did you know the nostril piercing is the second most popular type of piercing?\u00a0 Or that nose piercing jewellery<\/a> has been worn by Indian women for centuries as an integral part of their wedding jewellery.<\/p>\n

The most popular nose piercings are the nostril, septum and bridge. \u00a0If you’re looking for something a little more unusual how about a vertical bridge\/third eye, nasallang, septril, nasal tip\/rhino or Austin bar. \u00a0Just to get you started!<\/p>\n

Nostril Piercings<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Titanium<\/a>Can be placed on either side of the nose, or both!\u00a0 The most natural looking location is in the nostril crease although it\u2019s entirely up to you.<\/p>\n

Nose piercing jewellery comes in all shapes and sizes with the most popular being the \u2018L\u2019 shaped nose stud<\/a>.\u00a0 The jewelled nose stud<\/a> is available in a myriad of sparkling gem colours with non-jewelled styles including hearts<\/a>, stars<\/a>, balls<\/a> and cones<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nose bones<\/a>, bar closure rings<\/a>, BCR rings<\/a> and open nose rings<\/a> are also ideal nostril piercing jewellery.<\/p>\n

Some people also like to use a crystal ear stud<\/a> in their nose.\u00a0 Just remove the butterfly on the back and bend the post to a 90 degree angle and you\u2019re good to go!<\/p>\n

Septum Piercings<\/strong><\/p>\n

The septum is the dividing wall, inside your nose, between your nostrils and is most often pierced in the gap between the cartilage and the end of the nose.<\/p>\n

The most popular types of septum piercing jewellery<\/a> are the circular barbell (CBB)<\/a>, BCR ring<\/a> and steel bullet<\/a>.\u00a0 Long spikes<\/a> are also great and come in lengths up to 35mm.<\/p>\n

Wearing a septum keeper<\/a> in your piercing can be useful as you can flip it up inside your nose to hide it should you have the need to.<\/p>\n

\"Steel<\/a>Of course you may also like to go large gauge<\/a> and stretch your septum piercing.\u00a0 Steel<\/a> or UV candy claws<\/a>, along with circular barbells (CBB)<\/a> and BCR rings<\/a> are great for this.<\/p>\n

Bridge Piercings<\/strong><\/p>\n

The standard bridge piercing (horizontal position) is placed at the top of the nose in the loose skin between the eyes.<\/p>\n
