Description

Bioflex barbell shafts. Bioflex body jewellery is very soft and flexible and this means that it causes less stress on your piercings. This is particularly useful for new piercings like scaffolds as non-flexible barbells like titanium and steel can put pressure on your piercings which is not only uncomfortable, it can also take longer to heal.
There are 2 international standards for autoclaving Bioflex:
1. Temperature 121 Degrees Celsius at pressure 15 pounds per square inch for 15 minutes.
2. Temperature 134 Degrees Celsius at pressure 32 pounds per square inch for 3 minutes.
Exceeding this can result in deformation.
NB: You cannot sterilise Bioflex in a dry heat autoclave. You need a steam sterilisation process with water.
